On Running: Zwitserse precisie voor hardlopers en sportievelingen
On, ook bekend als On Running, werd in 2010 in Zürich opgericht met als doel de loopervaring volledig te herdefiniëren. Het merk introduceerde de revolutionaire CloudTec-technologie, waarbij holle rubberen 'wolken' onder de zool zorgen voor een zachte landing en een explosieve afzet. Het idee kwam van voormalig triatleet Olivier Bernhard, die het merk samen met David Allemann en Caspar Coppetti oprichtte.
Vanuit zijn Zwitserse roots groeide On razendsnel uit tot een wereldwijd fenomeen in de sportschoenenindustrie. De schoenen combineren hoogwaardige materialen met een strak, modern design dat zowel op de atletiekbaan als in het dagelijks leven past. Naast hardloopschoenen biedt On inmiddels ook sportkleding en alledaagse sneakers aan.
On onderscheidt zich door de balans tussen sportieve prestaties en minimalistische esthetiek. Het merk is een favoriet geworden onder hardlopers, maar ook onder modebewuste consumenten die comfort en stijl weten te waarderen.
