Christian Louboutin
Christian Louboutin, geboren in 1963 in Frankrijk, begon in zijn vroege tienerjaren voor het eerst fantastische schoenen te bedenken. Hij werd op 16-jarige leeftijd van school gestuurd en begon twee jaar later te werken voor de beroemde schoenontwerper Charles Jourdan. Begin jaren negentig lanceerde Louboutin zijn eigen lijn damesschoenen. Louboutin staat vooral bekend om zijn high-end schoenen die herkenbaar zijn aan hun schitterende rode zolen.

Leuk weetje: De iconische rode zool ontstond per toeval in 1992 toen Louboutin de rode nagellak van zijn assistente pakte en de zool van teen tot hiel rood verfde.
